From May 30 to June 5, 2021, an international conference "Complex Analysis and its Applications" was held in Gelendzhik - one of the branches of Kuban State University. It was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vladimir Nikolaevich Dubinin.
At the 36th International Exhibition of Inventions, New Technologies and Industrial Design in Belgrade (Republic of Serbia) held from June 1 to 3, 2021, scientists of Kuban State University presented three innovative developments, and all of them were awarded gold medals.
Within the framework of cooperation between the twin cities of Krasnodar and Yerevan, on the initiative of the Control and Protocol Department of the Krasnodar Municipal Administration and with the aim of resuming contacts and discussing promising areas for the implementation of joint projects in the field of higher education, an online meeting of representatives of Kuban State University, Yerevan State University and Yerevan State University of Languages and Social Sciences named after V. On June 2, 2021, the final application of the Russian national football team for Euro 2020 was published. For the first time in history, 2 representatives of Kuban State University were included in the national team: a graduate of the Institute of Geography, Geology, Tourism and Service, halfback Daniil Fomin and a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Communication Studies, goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.
On May 28, 2021 , the 1st international exhibition-competition “Science Art: Biogallery” was opened at the Boiling Point of Kuban State University.
On May 28-29, 2021, the international scientific and practical conference "The Black Sea-Mediterranean Region in the System of Russia's National Interests: History and Modernity" devoted to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War" was held in Taganrog.
On May 24, 2021, the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture was celebrated at Kuban State University. That day, Archpriest Pavel Romanenko, the Archpriest of the future church of St. Cyril and Methodius, served a prayer at the Cross of Worship.
The youth Russian-German scientific and practical conference "Post-COVID reboot of business and society: the experience of sustainable development of Russia, Germany and the EU" was held on May 3 in a remote format on the Microsoft Teams platform.
On April 27, 2021, as part of the events dedicated to the Cross–Year of Russia-Greece History, the exhibition " Arise, Greece, arise!" was officially opened at Kuban State University.
As a part of the Year of Germany in Russia 2020/21, from April 16 to 25, 2021, a Pop-UP Festival of German Culture and the German Language is being held in Krasnodar. The Regional German Educational Center of KubSU (RDAZ) is an organizer of the extensive language program of the festival.
