KubSU – participant of the tele-space bridge "Czech Republic-Russia"

On February 09, Kuban State University took part in a Zoom tele-space bridge (videoconference) devoted to the Diplomatic Worker Day. The event was arranged by the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic together with the Children's and Youth Diplomacy Club in the Czech Republic, supported by the Council of Young Diplomats and the All-Russian children’s Center “Orlyonok”. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to the Czech Republic Alexander Vladimirovich Zmeevsky, the Consul General of Russia in Brno Alexander Alexandrovich Kalachev and the Head of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Prague Alexander Pavlovich Tkachev addressed a welcoming speech to the participants.

Pupils and students of specialized Czech and Russian educational institutions in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, Volgograd and Krasnodar congratulated Russian diplomats on their professional holiday and exchanged their experience in project activities in the field of public diplomacy. Kuban State University was represented by a 4th year student of the Faculty of History, Sociology and International Relations (FHSIR) Roman Vystorop. The event was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty Alexander Vladimirovich Vashchenko and the Director of International Affairs Department Galina Nikolaevna Govorova.

It should be noted that nowadays there are two well-known Czech Universities among foreign partners of KubSU: the Czech University of Natural Sciences Prague, with which KubSU implements an English-language double degree program in Economics & Management, and the University of Hradec Kralove that actively develops academic mobility programs for students and professors.
